With four games remaining in the regular season, Seattle is one game behind the Aces as the current No. 5 seed in the WNBA playoffs with a 22-14 record. The Storm are one of five teams with a positive point differential this season (+4.7), but are 9-9 on the road compared to 13-5 at home. Dallas, on the other hand, is eliminated from playoff contention with a 9-28 record. The Storm have won the previous three matchups over the Wings, including a 95-71 win the last time these two teams met in July.

Most recently, the Storm made it back-to-back wins with a 90-82 victory over the Sparks in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Skylar Diggins-Smith had 26 points and Gabby Williams added 17 points to lead the way for the fifth-place Storm.
As for Dallas, the Wings fell in the first leg of a back-to-back in a 99-67 loss to the Liberty on Thursday night. Maddy Siegrist led the way with 11 points in the loss. Arike Ogunbowale struggled with 13 points. The Liberty were led by All-Star Sabrina Ionescu, who had 20 points on 8-of-18 shooting.
The Storm continue to play for seeding in the WNBA playoffs when they visit the Wings on Friday night.
