Alyssa Thomas and the Sun visit Caitlin Clark and the Fever in a Monday night WNBA contest.
The 2-0 Connecticut Sun visit the 0-3 Indiana Fever on Monday for a rematch of the season opener for both sides. Connecticut was dominant in that 92-71 victory on Tuesday, with five different Sun players scoring in double figures. The scoring was led by DeWanna Bonner, who put up 20 points in the victory. The Sun also got a triple-double from Alyssa Thomas as she added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Thomas is no stranger to getting triple-doubles, as Thomas is the WNBA’s career leader in the stat.

On the Indiana side, Caitlin Clark scored 20 in her WNBA debut but struggled with turnovers. She currently holds the record for most turnovers through the first three games of a WNBA player’s career.
The Sun went on to win their second game of the year as well, taking down the Mystics on Friday 84-77. Bonner once again led the team in scoring with 22 points, while Dijonai Carrington added 21 of her own.
Indiana played the New York Liberty on Thursday and then again on Saturday, losing both. The first contest was a 102-66 loss, while the second was a 91-80 loss. The Fever have had a tough start to the 2024 season and it doesn’t get much easier from here as they face the Storm on Wednesday.
