Indiana is coming into Tuesday night’s game after a big 102-88 statement win over the first-place New York Liberty. The victory helped the Fever to regain their composure as Caitlin Clark returned from a quad strain. She finished the game with 32 points, nine assists and eight rebounds, almost delivering a triple-double in her return. Kelsey Mitchell added 22 points and Aliyah Boston, Lexie Hull and Sydney Colson also contributed to the offensive onslaught.

After a five-game losing streak to open the season, Connecticut rallied for a narrow win over Indiana on the road in May. Veterans Marina Mabrey (17.6 ppg) and Tina Charles (16.8 ppg, 5.5 rpg) lead the team offensively this season, but the team has struggled to shut down their oppositions’ offensive firepower, resulting in a lopsided record that has them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.
