Young led all scorers with 32 points in the 91-78 Game 1 win. She exploded for 21 points in the third quarter, pushing the Las Vegas lead from nine points at the half to 15 heading into the final period.

The Las Vegas defense picked up where it left off in the second half of Game 1. Alyssa Thomas didn’t have her normal impact, finishing with just 10 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three turnovers.
