Arkansas will take a trip to Los Angeles on Sunday to take on No. 5 UCLA in a non-conference contest.

On Sunday night, Arkansas will play its first ranked game of the season against No. 5 UCLA at Pauley Pavilion for a non-conference battle. The Razorbacks dropped their opening game of the season to Fairfield in a surprising 81-67 defeat, but bounced back to win three straight with the most recent being a 93-65 win over UT-Arlington on Thursday. The team is now 3-1 and will look to extend that win streak to four games with an upset on Sunday.

Against the Mavericks, the Hogs’ offense was led by Izzy Higginbottom who had a monster performance with 29 points. Carly Keats and Danika Galea were also in double figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Jenna Lawrence earned a double-double in the win by leading on the boards with 12 rebounds and adding 14 points to the book.

The Bruins bring an undefeated record of 3-0 into Sunday’s home game. The team kicked off the 2024-2025 season with a 66-59 win over Louisville in France before returning home and beating Colgate 81-63 and Pepperdine most recently with a big 91-54 victory. The team has been playing well as it prepares for its first season in the Big Ten conference.

Janiah Barker led all scorers against the Waves with 18 points and also pulled down 11 rebounds to earn a double-double in the win. Lauren Betts finished the game with 17 points and pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds to also earn a double-double in front of a home crowd. With the strength of Barker and Betts offensively, the Bruins will be a force to be reckoned with as the season continues.

Sunday’s matchup will be the third between Arkansas and UCLA and the series is currently tied at 1-1. Last year, the Bruins earned an 81-66 victory over the hogs in Fayetteville.
