The Bruins are still undefeated this season with a perfect record of 17-0 and 6-0 in Big Ten play in their first year in a new conference. On Wednesday, the team hosted Penn State, earning an 83-67 win in front of a home crowd. Lauren Betts earned a double-double, her 10th of the season by scoring 22 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Angela Dugalić scored 11 points, while Kiki Rice and Gabriela Jaquez rounded out the double digit scorers with 10 points each. While there were three ties and eight lead changes in the game, the Bruins pulled away in the second quarter, creating enough of a scoring gap that the Nittany Lions could not close.

UCLA and Baylor have met a total of six times in their history and the Bears hold a 5-1 lead in the series. The last time the teams met was during the 2017-18 season and the Bruins picked up the win in an 82-68 victory.
