Sedona Prince leads the TCU Horned Frogs against the Baylor Bears in the Big 12 Tournament Championship Game.

It is an all-Texas championship game this year in the Big 12 Tournament with top-seeded TCU (30-3) challenged by second-seeded Baylor (27-6). The Horned Frogs won seven straight games to close out the regular season and added two more in the conference tournament heading into the championship game. One of those wins came against the Bears on the road in the regular season finale. It was the Horned Frogs second win over the Bears this season, both coming by a combined eight points. Sedona Prince and Hailey Van Lith combined for 30 points coming up big all game on both ends as the Bears mounted a furious comeback down the stretch.

This season Prince is averaging 20.0 points, 16.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game on 51.4% shooting against the Bears. Her perimeter partner Van Lith has led the way against the Bears averaging 17.5 points per game, but finished both games with seven turnovers, by far the most in any game this season.

The Bears have been right there in both games, losing the regular season finale by just three points led by Aaronette Vonleh (17 points and 10 rebounds) and Yaya Felder (17 points and five assists).

In the first game between the teams the Horned Frogs won in another close affair. The Bears again tried to make it a game down the stretch with a 26-18 final period led by Sarah Andrews with 21 points on 5-9 shooting from three.
