The last challenge on the way to the Big East Tournament Championship Game is Seton Hall (22-8). This season the Blue Jays swept the season series against the Pirates winning the two games by a combined 24 points. In the most recent win the Blue Jays routed the Pirates 72-56 at home.

Jensen led all scorers with 21 points in the win. She played one of her best games of the season finishing with four assists and three rebounds while shooting 5-9 from three. Jensen has played more games against the Pirates in her career (11) averaging 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists on 37.7% shooting from three.

Maly this season is averaging 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game against the Pirates. Those two are one game away from playing for not only the first Big East Tournament Championship in this senior class’ history, but in program history.

The Pirates are coming off a tough, gritty win in the semifinals over Xavier. They were on the brink of elimination, but forced 28 turnovers to claw back and earn their way into the semifinals.
