The second semifinal of the Big Sky Tournament is set between the Montana Grizzlies and the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.

Second-seeded Northern Arizona (26-6) heads into the second semifinal in the women’s college basketball Big Sky Tournament riding a nine game winning streak. The Lumberjacks have the opportunity to make it 10 games in a row against sixth-seeded Montana (13-17). They are playing as well as any team in the country and are in a position to play in the conference championship game for the fourth straight season. On the other side for the Grizzlies, they had lost five of the last seven games heading into the tournament. The winner of this game will take on the winner of the first semifinal between top-seeded Montana State and fifth-seeded Idaho State.

The Grizzlies got back into the win column with an upset over third-seeded Idaho in the quarterfinals. Mack Konig led the way in the upset scoring 20 points and dishing out six assists in the 65-54 win.

Konig will need to come up big again here in the semifinals to extend the Grizzlies season. This season the Grizzlies lost both games to the Lumberjacks by a combined 39 points. In the most recent game the Lumberjacks built an 83-54 lead heading into the final period.

Taylor Feldman led six players in double-figures with 21 points and five assists. Offensively that was one of the best games all season for the Lumberjacks scoring their third highest point total of the season while dishing out a season-high in assists (24) and made three-pointers (17).
