New Mexico looks to get back on track, complete a season sweep of Colorado State on Tuesday night

Since getting off to a 6-1 start in Mountain West Conference play, New Mexico (13-10) has struggled, losing three straight games. On Tuesday night, the Lobos host Colorado State (15-7) at The Pit in Albuquerque, where they are just 9-7 this season. New Mexico beat the Rams on the road back on Jan. 18, taking a 78-74 decision, but are just 1-3 since. The Lobos haven’t been to the NCAA tournament since a run of seven straight bids from 2002-08 and had their last postseason trip during the 2023 WNIT. Colorado State’s last NCAA tourney appearance was in 2016 and it also played in the 2023 WNIT.
