For the Mountaineers this season it has been all about the team defense. This season they have only allowed more than 70 points to an opponent once and over 60 points four times. Overall they are allowing just 51.6 points per game, which is fourth in the country this season.

On the offensive end senior J.J. Quinerly leads the way for the Mountaineers. She is averaging 18.3 points, 3.4 steals, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Quinerly is eighth in the country in steals per game anchoring the Mountaineers defensive attack that is fourth best in the country at creating turnovers.
