Lucy Olsen and Iowa take on Kansas on Wednesday in women’s college basketball looking to start the season with five straight wins.

This season Iowa (4-0) is off to a strong start and looks to remain undefeated against Kansas (4-0) in a non-conference women’s college basketball matchup. The Hawkeyes have reloaded this season and are playing some of the best offense in the country. They are putting up 85.5 points per game, 29th in the country. In their first neutral site game this season the Hawkeyes cruised to a 71-52 win over Virginia Tech. The offense this season is led by Lucy Olsen’s playmaking and the persistent interior duo of senior Addison O’Grady and junior Hannah Stuelke bludgeoning teams for 40 minutes every game. Those three will try to push the Hawkeyes to a fifth straight win to start the season.

O’Grady is off to a monster start to the season. She has more than quadrupled her scoring average from 3.9 points per game to 16.8 points per game. The fourth year big is also snaring 4.8 rebounds and blocking 1.8 shots per game on 73.2 percent shooting from the field.

Last season was Stuelke’s breakout and she has continued to add to her game this season with a career-best 14.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 6.3 free throw attempts per game. Stuelke went from Caitlin Clark to Olsen with a seamless transition in her game and productivity.

The Jayhawks will look to slow down the Hawkeyes with one of the better defenses to start the season. Through four games the Jayhawks have not allowed more than 64 points in a game. The Jayhawks have won all four of their games by at least 13 points, all at home as they take on their biggest test of the season.
