Ja’Leah Williams and Louisville will take on Toby Fournier and No. 11 Duke in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Friday night.

The No. 6-seeded Louisville will take the court at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, against the No. 11 ranked women’s college basketball team in the country and No. 3-seeded Duke on Friday night. The Louisville Cardinals finished their season with a 21-9 record overall and a 13-5 record against teams in the conference. As the No. 6 seed, they were almost in the group that didn’t have to play in the second round of the tournament, but they took on No. 14-seeded Clemson and won in an overtime thriller, 70-68.

In the win, Ja’Leah Williams led Louisville with 16 points, missing just one shot all night and pulling down a team-high 12 rebounds in the process. Tajianna Roberts also had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, including three assists.

The Duke Blue Devils come into this ACC Tournament with a 23-7 record overall this season, and becuase of their seed placement, they didn’t have to play a game in the conference tournament until the quarterfinal rounds, unlike most teams. They ended their regular season on March 2nd against the No. 24-ranked team in the country, Florida State.

They walked away with a 71-57 win in that season finalé on the road, led by a 28-point game-high night from Toby Fournier on an incredibly efficient 11-of-15 shooting. Oluchi Okananwa pulled down 10 rebounds with three assists and six points off the bench. The winner of this game advances to the tournament’s semifinal round.
