Big Ten women’s basketball action continues on Saturday afternoon with a game between Maryland and Wisconsin. Watch free on Fubo.

The Wisconsin Badgers will host the No. 8 Maryland Terrapins on Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center as the teams meet in Big Ten play. The Badgers are currently on a four-game losing streak which puts them at 1-4 in conference play for a spot in 14th place in the Big Ten standings. The team’s most recent game was played against Big Ten newcomer Washington and resulted in a 79-58 loss on the road to drop to 10-6 on the season. Serah Williams and Halle Douglass were the only Badgers in double figures with 19 and 11 points, respectively. Williams narrowly missed a double-double by leading on the boards, as well, with nine rebounds. The team struggled with shooting at just 36 percent from the field and 27 percent from beyond the arc.

The Terps come into Saturday’s game with a spot in fifth place in the Big Ten standings after suffering a tough 79-74 loss to No. 4 USC on Wednesday night marking the team’s first loss in conference play for a record of 4-1. Shyanne Sellers led all scorers with a 26-point performance and was joined in double figures by Kaylene Smikle with 16 points and Christina Dalce with 15 points.

Dalce earned a double-double by pulling down 11 rebounds and Saylor Poffenbarger led the rebounding efforts with 17 on the night. Despite their best efforts, which led to nine ties and three lead changes, the Terps could not find five points in the waning minutes of the game to force overtime.

Wisconsin and Maryland have now met 12 times in their history and the Badgers have yet to have beaten the Terps. The teams’ last meeting resulted in a 79-63 win for the Terps last season.
