On Sunday afternoon, No. 25 Nebraska will host Minnesota at Pinnacle Bank Arena for the teams’ first Big Ten Conference matchup of the season. The Golden Gophers come into Sunday’s conference-opener with an undefeated record of 10-0. The team’s most recent game was played against North Florida and resulted in a big 90-44 win. Grace Grocholski and Annika Stewart each scored 15 points to pace six players to double digit finishes in the win. Tori Mckinney and Sophie Hart scored 12 points apiece while Amaya Battle and Taylor Woodson each netted 11 points in the win. Mckenna Johnson cleaned up under the basket with a team-leading eight rebounds. The Golden Gophers shot an impressive 56 percent from the field and 36 percent from long range while going 14-for-17 in the win.

Britt Prince led the team on the scoreboard with 14 points and three other ‘Huskers joined her in double digits. Alexis Markowski finished the game with her third straight double-double, scoring 11 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Callin Hake recorded a career-high four steals and added 12 points and six rebounds to assist her teammates in the win.

Nebraska leads the all-time series with Minnesota 18-14, with the most recent game being a 70-51 win over the Golden Gophers last season.
