Montana State and Montana will meet on Wednesday night with the hopes of winning the Big Sky Tournament title.

The top-seed Montana State Bobcats will look to tack on another title this season with a win over Montana in the championship game on Wednesday night in the Big Sky Tournament. The team made it through to the final after trouncing the Idaho State Bengals on Tuesday afternoon in a 75-42 victory. Isobel Bunyan led the Bobcats in scoring, finishing the game with 15 points, while Esmeralda Morales and Marah Dykstra added 14 and 10 points, respectively. Addison Harris came off the bench to pull down seven rebounds and added four points to the stat sheet. The team finished the game shooting 41 percent from the field and 36 percent from long range will going a perfect 14-for-14 from the line.

The Grizzlies earned a spot in the championship game after pulling off an upset against the second-seeded Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Tuesday in a narrow 71-67 victory to improve to 14-17 on the season. The victory put a stop to the Lumberjacks eight-game win streak, as well. Mack Konig had a standout performance for the Grizzlies, scoring a team-high 29 points and also finished with a team-high five assists. On the boards, Avery Waddington led with a total of 11 rebounds to go along with 12 points for a double-double.

Montana and Montana State met twice this season and the Bobcats won both, with the first being a narrow 67-66 victory and the second being a much bigger win at 98-66. Tune in Wednesday to see if the Grizzlies can pull off the upset and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
