The Huskers opened the fourth quarter with an 8-0 run on Thursday night and held off Purdue down the stretch for a 74-68 road victory. Britt Prince finished with 23 points and Alexis Markowski added 18. Markowski averages 14.9 points and 7.8 rebounds and Prince contributes 13.8 points per game.

The Hoosiers salvages a split on the West Coast, surviving after squandering a 14-point fourth-quarter lead when Sydney Parrish splashed a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 1:25 left en route to a 73-70 victory at Washington on Monday night. Yarden Garzon went off for 35 points while Parrish added 16. Garzon gets 14.5 points per game while Parrish averages 10.9 points and 6.0 boards.

Indiana is 12-6 in the all-time series with two straight wins, including a 91-59 blowout at Nebraska in last season’s only meeting. Amy Williams is 153-116 in her ninth season with the Cornhuskers while Teri Moren has a 240-106 mark in her 11th year leading the Hoosiers.
