The Irish rode a big third quarter to a 77-61 victory at Virginia Tech on Thursday night. Hannah Hidalgo put up 30 points, Olivia Miles knocked down 15 and Liatu King snared 12 rebounds. Hidalgo scores 25.6 points per game, Miles averages 16.4 points and 6.8 assists and King posts 12.2 points and 10.8 boards a night.

Tajianna Roberts hit a jumper with 56 seconds left to give Louisville the lead after it had blown a 12-point fourth-quarter lead in its 80-75 victory at SMU on Thursday night. Roberts finished with 22 points while Jayda Curry added 15. Roberts puts in 13.0 points per game, Curry nets 11.9 points an outing and Olivia Cochran averages 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds.

Notre Dame is 20-14 in the all-time series with two straight wins, going 2-1 against the Cardinals last season, including a 77-68 win in the ACC tournament quarterfinals. Niele Ivey is 108-34 in her fifth season with the Fighting Irish while Jeff Walz has a 479-141 mark in his 18th year at Louisville.
