Olivia Miles leads the sixth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on the road against Purdue in women’s college basketball.

This season is starting off very similarly for sixth-ranked Notre Dame, despite getting All-American Olivia Miles back from injury. The team was without Sonia Citron, Maddy Westbeld, KK Bradford and two others for the season-opener and could be without them for an extended period of time. Despite the shortened rotation the Fighting Irish won their season-opener and look to build momentum before the non-conference schedule becomes a gauntlet. They take on an unranked Purdue team in the second game of the season. The Boilermakers have a formidable duo in senior Destini Lombard and freshman Lana McCarthy that will try to pull off a major upset against the sixth-ranked team in the country.
