The Lumberjacks finished the regular season at 25-6 overall and 16-2 in conference play. That was good enough for second place in the conference standings, one game back of first place Montana State. They have won 16 of their last 18 games, with both losses coming to Montana State. Two of those wins have come against the Hornets. They slipped by them 75-70 on the road in January and then beat them by 15 at home on Feb. 15. In the second win Sophie Glancey scored 21 points to help lead them to the win. Glancey is the team’s top scorer this season at 18.0 points per game. Taylor Feldman and Nyah Moran are also averaging in double figures at 16.7 and 11.5 points per game respectively. Glancey is also the team’s top rebounder at 9.3 per game.

The Hornets struggled to stop them in the two meetings, but will need to find a way if they want any shot at pulling off the upset and moving on. The Hornets come into Sunday on a three-game winning streak and it has moved them to 15-17 overall. They finished the regular season with a 7-11 conference record, which was tied for seventh.
