South Carolina goes for its 15th straight win on Monday night when it visits Tennessee

The South Carolina Gamecocks hit the road on Monday night to take on the Tennessee Lady Volunteers. The Gamecocks come into Monday on a 14-game winning streak, the last four of which have come against ranked opponents. Friday they host SEC rival LSU and erased an early deficit to win 66-56. It has been an impressive run for the Gamecocks who also knocked off No. 13 Oklahoma by 41 points last Sunday. The Gamecocks now sit at 19-1 on the season and a perfect 7-0 in the SEC. They have been led by Joyce Edwards who is scoring a team-best 12.2 points per game. MiLaysia Fulwiley and Te-Hina Paopao are also averaging double figures this season at 11.1 and 10.9 points per game respectively. Chloe Kitts is the team’s top rebounder at 7.5 boards per game.

The Lady Volunteers are going to have their hands full slowing down the the Gamecocks as they try and bounce back from two straight losses.

They went on the road and lost to both Vanderbilt and No. 7 Texas in the last week and it has dropped them to 15-4 overall and 3-4 in the SEC.
