The South Carolina Gamecocks battle the TCU Horned Frogs on Sunday evening in the US LBM Coast to Coast Challenge in Fort Worth, TX. The Gamecocks, who are the defending National Champions, come into Sunday on a three-game winning streak and 8-1 on the season. They got tripped up by No. 5 UCLA back on November 24th, but have bounced back with wins against No. 15 Iowa State, Purdue and Duke. The Gamecocks already own three ranked wins this season and have also beat Michigan who is now ranked. The Gamecocks play different players at least 16 minutes a game and have been balanced all season. Chloe Kitts and Te-Hina Paopao are the only two players averaging double figures this season as they are scoring 12.1 and 11.9 points per game respectively. Kitts is also the team’s leading rebounder at 8.4 per game.

The Horned Frogs come into Sunday a perfect 9-0 on the season and ranked No. 9 in the latest AP Poll. They have played two ranked teams this year and came away with wins against both No. 13 NC State and No. 3 Notre Dame.

They won those two games by three and eight, but have won their other seven games by at least 36 points.

The Horned Frogs have been led by Sedona Prince and Hailey Van Lith who are both averaging a team-best 19.4 points per game. Prince is averaging a double-double as she is also grabbing a team-high 10.8 rebounds per game.
