This season sixth-ranked LSU (18-0) continues to roll through opponent after opponent. The Tigers are coming off their biggest test and win of the season in an 89-87 win over 16th ranked Tennessee. Aneesah Morrow led the way with one of the best games of her career. She finished with 23 points and 21 rebounds, her fourth 20-20 game ever and second this season. Morrow will look to lead the Tigers to another win against Vanderbilt (14-3) in an SEC showdown. The Commodores have a high-flying, high-scoring offense that is eighth in the country, but has slowed down some over the last two games, both losses.

The Commodores are struggling at the wrong time with back-to-back losses against conference opponents. In those losses they are averaging just 68.5 points per game, 21.4 less than they did through the first 15 games of the season where they averaged 89.9 points per game.

Sophomore Khamil Pierre and freshman Mikayla Blakes have formed one of the best scoring duos in women’s college basketball. In her second season Pierre is averaging 22.1 points per game while Blakes has been one of the most impressive freshmen in the country scoring 20.5 points per game.

On the other side for the Tigers the offense flows through Flau’jae Johnson and Morrow. In her junior season Johnson has been terrific with 19.7 points per game while Morrow is a double-double machine putting up 18.4 points and 14.4 rebounds per game, leading the country in rebounding again.
