Women’s college basketball features an ACC matchup between the Virginia Cavaliers and the Syracuse Orange.

The duo of Kyra Wood and Izabel Varejao got Syracuse (8-12) back in the win column after three straight losses. The Orange got back on track in their last game, which is exactly what Virginia (11-11) is looking for here. The Cavaliers have lost four straight games, two to ranked opponents and three by a combined 11 points. It has been a tough stretch for Kymora Johnson who has been one of the best players in the ACC this season. She is averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game leading the Cavaliers in both points and assists this season. Johnson will try to get the Cavaliers back on track against the Orange in a conference rivalry showdown.
