On Saturday, the team traveled to Erie, Pennsylvania to play Mercyhurst and earned a 71-63 win. Taleah Washington led the Wagner offense with a 24-point performance and KC Carter joined her in double figures with 12 points after coming off the bench. Washington also led the team on the boards with 11 rebounds to earn a double-double in the win. While the team did pick up the win, it only shot 40 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc; marks that will need to be improved upon to continue moving up in the standings.

The team has won two games in a row and the most recent was a 63-54 win against last place LIU over the weekend. Airah Lavy came off the bench to lead the Red Flash in scoring with 14 points while Marissa Shelton and Julianna Gibson also finished in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively. The team shot well from long range at 50 percent, but struggled at the line going just 10-for-18.
