Women’s college basketball features an ACC matchup between the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Florida State Seminoles.

For the first week this season Florida State (17-4) is in the Top 25 in women’s college basketball. The Seminoles are 25th in the country after working all season to get into the rankings. All it takes is one loss to fall out of the Top 25, which is what the Seminoles are trying to avoid against Wake Forest (8-13) in this ACC matchup. Ta’Niya Latson has led the Seminoles to four straight wins, including hitting a buzzer-beater to take down North Carolina when it was ranked 13th in the country. Latson has been an unstoppable force on the offensive end as the country’s top scorer, on the highest scoring team in the country this season.
