They have another opportunity to get back in the win column against William & Mary (5-10) in a CAA rivalry game. The Tribe are coming off one of their most impressive wins of the season building momentum heading into this game. Last season these teams did not have the opportunity to play with the Huskies forfeiting three games, including their only matchup with the Tribe. That adds to this matchup with the Huskies on an eight game losing streak and having last season’s forfeit front of mind.

The key to the Huskies getting back in the win column is sophomore and Villanova transfer Abigail Jegede. This season she is averaging 15.8 points per game as a full-time starter after a year on the bench for the Wildcats where she scored a total of 30 points as a freshman.

For the Tribe the start of conference season has brought out the best in the team. They are second in the conference in scoring. A big factor in their scoring uptick has been the three-point shot. In conference play they are shooting 31.5% from three after shooting just 24.3% in non-conference play.

The Tribe shoot as many threes as any team in the country, which give them a wildcard to win potentially any game if they are to convert. Bella Nascimento (18.3 points per game) and Cassidy Geddes (14.0 points per game) have found their stroke in conference play combining to shoot 3.3 for 9.0 from deep.
