After dropping three straight games Nebraska (14-4) is back on track and knocking on the door of the Top 25 again in women’s college basketball. The Cornhuskers have won four straight games, including an overtime thriller in their last outing. They set their sights on Monday on Big Ten rival Wisconsin (10-8), who has lost six straight. The Cornhuskers have also won seven straight games against the Badgers dating back to the 2019-2020 season. Another win here to start the week would put the Cornhuskers in a great position to re-enter the Top 25. Senior Alexis Markowski has elevated her game in conference play, especially during this four game winning streak.

Markowski is coming off a well-rounded game with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists on 8-of-11 shooting from the field. Over the last four games she is averaging 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game on 52.8 percent shooting.

Freshman Britt Prince has teamed well with Markowski, showing the Cornhuskers they have a bright future. She is averaging 13.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Prince is coming off back-to-back games with 20 or more points for the first time in her career, getting to the free throw line 16 times.

On the other side for the Badgers, the majority of the offense comes from junior Serah Williams. She is averaging a double-double this season with 18.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.6 blocks per game. Williams is one of just three players in the country averaging 18-plus points and 11-plus rebounds per game.
