SEC gymnastics action continues on Friday night as Auburn hosts Arkansas.

Women’s college gymnastics is underway and Friday night will see a top 25 matchup take place as No. 17 Arkansas travels to take on No. 12 Auburn at Neville Arena as the teams begin conference competition. The Razorbacks kicked off their season last weekend in Oklahoma City with a quad meet against Kentucky, Ohio State and UCLA. The Hogs finished last with a score of 195.875. Freshman Joscelyn Roberson made her NCAA debut and made an impact right away, tying for first place in the all-around with a score of 39.475. Her score marks the second highest ever by a rookie Razorback. She also tied for second on the floor with none other than her USA teammate Jordan Chiles taking the top spot. While the team did come up short against the other teams in the quad, the Razorbacks got off to a strong start and will be a team to watch in SEC competition this season.

The Tigers turned in a score of 196.775 with a strong performance from freshman Katelyn Jong who finished first on all four apparatuses. Jong posted a 39.500 to take her first all-around title of her career, as well.
