Women’s college gymnastics features an SEC rivalry showdown between the Florida Gators and Arkansas Razorbacks.
Second-ranked Florida (6-1) have won three straight meets after its first loss of the season. The Gators look to keep rolling against conference rivals and 15th ranked Arkansas (3-5). This season the Gators are one of the most well-rounded teams in the country with just one loss to LSU, who was ranked second in the country at the time. Around that loss are two separate three meet winning streaks. After losing four straight meets the Razorbacks were starting to build momentum with three straight wins to rise back up the national rankings. This is another opportunity for the Razorbacks to inch closer to .500 this season and pick up a season-defining win.

This is one of five dual meets between teams ranked in the top 15 on Friday. That should lead to a lot of quality competition in women’s college gymnastics heading into the weekend. Especially if the Razorbacks can pull off the upset against the Gators here.B
Senior Leanne Wong is coming off a strong performance where she finished number one in the overall competition. She has led the Gators all season as one of the best all-around gymnasts in the country.
The Razorbacks are the third team this season that the Gators are facing already this season that were in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. They will have to be on top of their game again here to win a fourth straight dual meet.
