The first session of the SEC Championships of women’s college gymnastics showcases four top 13 ranked programs.

There might not be a more talented and competitive quad meet this weekend than the first session of the SEC Championships. This meet features four teams all ranked in the top 13 in the Road to Nationals standings with eighth-ranked Kentucky as the highest ranked of the teams. They will be challenged all meet with 10th ranked Georgia, 12th ranked Auburn and 13th ranked Alabama also in the field. This season the SEC has dominated women’s college gymnastics with not only nine of the top 16 ranked teams in the country, but the top three teams at the top of the rankings. All four of the teams in this first session are all looking to shock the gymnastics world and win the 2025 SEC Championships.

This season the Bulldogs peaked with a season-high score of 197.975. That is the best score of this group showing their ability to rise to the highest level of competition this season. On average the Bulldogs earned a score of 197.063 throughout the season.

The Wildcats featured the second best high score of 197.925 with an average score of 197.123 this season. Just behind those high-scores are the Tigers (197.750) and the Crimson Tide (197.650) showing just how tough the SEC is with teams all capable of scores in the high 197’s.

Over in the second session the top three teams in the country are in action for the SEC Championships. Top-ranked Oklahoma, second-ranked LSU and third-ranked Florida will all be in action along with seventh-ranked Missouri in a conference championship that could easily be repeated in the NCAA Tournament.
