How to Watch Hockey East Tournament Semifinal, Northeastern at UConn: Stream Women’s College Hockey Live, TV Channel

Last year, No. 15 Northeastern and No. 12 UConn met in the Women’s Hockey East championship. This year, they’ll meet again in the semifinal round on Wednesday.

In what’s become somewhat of a regular matchup in the Women’s Hockey East tournament in recent years, No. 15 Northeastern (21-13-1, 15-11-2) and No. 12 UConn (22-11-2, 19-6-2) will face-off once again this year in the semifinal round. That game will take place on Wednesday night at the Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs. Whichever team wins will advance to the conference championship on Saturday to take on the winner of the other semifinal between No. 13 Boston College and No. 11 Boston University (which is also being played on Wednesday night).

Last year these two teams met in the conference final. UConn won that game in overtime. That win put an end to Northeastern having won six conference tournament championships in a row. Two more of those were won against UConn in the championship.

UConn and Northeastern played each other three times head-to-head during the regular season with all three games decided by just one goal. Northeastern swept a home-and-home in early November, winning both games by scores of 1-0. The teams then met again in early February in Storrs. That game went to overtime with Northeastern coming away with a 4-3 win.
