On Friday night, the Bulldogs open a weekend road trip against St. Lawrence (6-8-1) at Appleton Arena. The Saints return to the ice after a nine-day break following a blowout loss to Clarkson in a non-conference matchup. St. Lawrence is 4-2-0 in conference play, but has lost three of its last four overall. Yale has wins in three of its last four outings.

The Bulldogs opened last weekend with a 4-1 loss to visiting Harvard on Nov. 14, before rebounding with a 5-0 blanking of Dartmouth at home on Saturday afternoon. Carina DiAntonio leads Yale with seven goals and shares the team lead of 11 points with Jordan Ray, who has three tallies. Stephanie Stainton has four markers on the season. Anna Phillips is 4-3-0 with three shutouts in seven games in goal, six of them starts, with a .935 save percentage and 1.37 goals-against average.

The Saints took a 6-1 beatdown at Clarkson on Nov. 12 in the annual School Day Game and last played in ECAC Hockey action with a road split, losing in overtime at Quinnipiac before bouncing back to beat Princeton. Brooke Mulvihill, Rylan Haslam and Kiley Mastel lead St. Lawrence with three goals each, with Mulvihill compiling a team-high seven points thus far. Kassidy Lawrence is 3-4-1 with a shutout in eight starts while posting a .941 save percentage and 1.72 GAA.

Yale has lost its last eight meetings with the Saints, dropping both regular season matchups last season before being swept in two games in the ECAC Hockey tournament quarterfinals at St. Lawrence. The Saints played in their second straight NCAA tournament last season, losing to Ohio State in the quarterfinals.
