The Eagles bring a three-game win streak into Friday night’s semifinal matchup and will look to build upon that with a win against Stanford. The team is now 16-1 overall and finished regular season play with a record of 8-1. The only loss came against then-No. 2 North Carolina in a narrow 12-11 defeat. Boston College opened up tournament play against Virginia, earning a 17-7 win to earn a spot in the semifinal round. Rachel Clark scored six goals to lead the offense which brings her total to 85 goals on the season. In net, the team looked to Shea Dolce to anchor the defense and she did so by making 14 saves. Dolce’s save percentage now sits at .565 on the season which is a big reason for the team’s No. 1 ranking.

When Stanford and Boston College met earlier this season, the Eagles earned a 17-9 victory on the road against the then-No. 5 Cardinal. Tune in Friday night to see which team will play in the title game against either North Carolina or Clemson.
