How to Watch Brown vs. Yale: Stream Women’s College Soccer Live, TV Channel

Women’s college soccer features an Ivy League match between Brown and Yale on Wednesday.

Heading into Wednesday’s match with Brown (4-3-3) in women’s college soccer, Yale (7-3-1) is playing its best soccer of the season. The Bulldogs have not lost in five straight matches with four wins and a tie. They are coming off their first tie of the season against Penn, which snapped a four match winning streak and continued a five match undefeated streak. The Bulldogs have the opportunity to continue that streak against the Bears, who are coming off a loss. Before a lopsided loss to Princeton (8-0) the Bears were playing the best soccer of the season, going 4-1-1 in their previous six matches. Neither team is ranked heading into this match, but the Bulldogs are knocking on the door.

During this five match stretch for the Bulldogs, they have held opponents to four total goals, shutting out two opponents and allowing one goal in two matches. The offense has been consistent, scoring two or more goals in four of the matches, as well putting it together on both sides of the pitch.

Ellie Rappole has led the team on the offensive end with four goals and three assists (11 points) in the eight matches she has entered. If she can maintain that pace she has the potential to be the top goal scorer in the conference and one of the best offensive players in the country this season.

Last season when these teams met the Bears came out with a huge 4-1 win. The match was tied 1-1 at the half before the Bears offense exploded with three goals in the second half. Rappole scored the only goal for the Bulldogs, while Brittany Raphino finished with three goals scored, one on a penalty kick and two assisted by teammates in the second half.
