The No. 3 ranked team in the nation, Florida State, will head on the road on Sunday afternoon to take on in-state rival Florida in Gainesville. The Seminoles have yet to lose a game this season with a 4-0-1 record through five games. They opened up their season with a 5-0 win against South Florida on the road. The domination continued as they beat North Florida 10-0 and Rice 3-0 in the next two games both at home. Their lone draw came against the former No. 24 ranked team in the country, Georgia, 1-1. Last weekend they got back to winning, beating Villanova 2-0 at home. Taylor Huff leads the team in scoring with five goals and four assists this season after starting all five games. Mimi Van Zanten follows her with three goals this year and one assist. Three other players have two goals and another seven girls have one goal each.

The Gators also haven’t lost a game this season either. However, they have just two wins and three draws through their five games. They opened the season with a win against Western Florida at home and followed it up with their first draw of the season 0-0 against North Florida on the road. The two goals in the win came from Madison Young and Delaney Tellex.
Their next game ended in a 2-2 draw against UCF followed by their second win on the road against Georgia State 2-0. Njeri Butts and Davina Vaka scored those two goals in the win. Their last game ended in a 1-1 draw on the road against Towson. They will now come back home for their first game against a ranked opponent this season.
