Ava Lung delivered a brace for Boston College with goals just a minute apart in the first half to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. The Fighting Irish cut the lead in half two minutes later and tied things up with just two minutes remaining in the game. Wiebke Willebrandt faced a total of 27 shots in net and made eight saves to help her team walk away with one point toward its ACC total.

The Mustangs opened conference play with a 4-1 win over Syracuse on Thursday to improve to 5-3 overall. Truth Byars opened the scoring against Syracuse just ten minutes into the game. The game was still 1-0 at half, but Liz Eddy scored her fourth game of the season in the 49th minute to extend the lead. Emma Alvord finished the game with a pair of goals. The only goal conceded was in the 72nd minute on a penalty kick, but it wasn’t enough to correct the damage the Mustangs have already done.
