Seven Castain and No. 1 seed TCU will take the pitch against Lexi Watts and No. 6 seed Kansas on Sunday.

The conference’s top-seeded TCU will take on the No. 6-seeded Kansas in the championship game of the Big 12 Women’s Soccer Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday night. The Horned Frogs finished the season with a 16-2-2 record overall and a 9-0-2 record against conference teams in the Big 12 Conference. They ended the regular season with six straight wins, ending in a 2-0 win on the road at Oklahoma State. They came into the Big 12 Tournament in a quarterfinal matchup against Colorado. The Buffaloes scored in the first minute of the game, and it looked over to Texas Christian.

However, Camryn Lancaster netted a goal in the 31st minute to even it up 1-1 heading into the halftime break. In the second half, it was all TCU, with a goal from Seven Castain and Carolina Kelly. They advanced to the semifinals taking on BYU on Wednesday. They once again gave up an early goal and went down 1-0. However, Kelly and Castain both scored in the 40th and 41st minutes to give TCU the lead and eventually a berth in the championship game.
