The Bruins are right on the verge of breaking into the top 25 with a record of 8-2-1 overall and an undefeated record of 3-0 in the Big Ten. The team has made a splash in its new conference, knocking off Oregon, Indiana and Purdue in its first three outings with the most recent being a 2-0 victory over the Boilermakers. The first half was scoreless, but UCLA came out fired up and scored two goals just three minutes apart to earn three points. Sofia Cook and Bridgette Marin-Valencia each scored their third goals of the season in the win while Ryan Campbell earned her eighth shutout of the season, but wasn’t tested in net as none of Purdue’s five shots ended up on frame.

Thursday’s game will mark the seventh meeting between UCLA and Wisconsin and the Badgers are still looking for that first win. The last meeting dates back to 2019 in which UCLA won 2-0 at home.
