The Bears are perfect in conference play thus far with a 2-0 record against Big 12 opponents and a 10-3 record overall. The team has won three straight matches and will look to add a fourth today. The team won its second ranked match of the season its last time out with a four-set win over No. 14 Arizona State over a week ago. With strong defensive play out of Jackie Barrett Frazier and Lauren Briseño who finished with 17 and 21 digs, respectively, the Bears held the Sun Devils to a hitting clip of just .167. Allie Szech and Kendal Murphy led the team offensively as Szech finished the game with a team-leading 12 kills and Murphy finished just behind her with 10 kills. The team may need to shake out the cobwebs to earn the win on Sunday as its last match was September 27th.

This will be the first of two meetings between the two teams this season. The last time they met was in November last season when they played back-to-back games which both went in TCU’s favor to bring the all-time series to 21-10 in Baylor’s favor.
