Florida battles Ohio State on Sunday afternoon in a big college volleyball non-conference match. The Gators will be looking to win their second straight match after beating Southern Indiana 3-0 on Saturday. The win comes after they suffered their first loss of the season on Friday against South Florida. The loss to the Bulls snapped a three-match winning streak to start the season. The Gators have already beat a Big Ten team this season as they swept the Michigan State Spartans last weekend. Sunday they will look to get another big win over an Ohio State team that has been one of the best in the Big Ten over the last several years.

The Buckeyes will need to bounce back from a loss if they want to get a win on Sunday, though. Saturday they fell to USF in five sets for their first loss of the season. They led the Bulls two sets to one, but couldn’t finish things out and lost 25-18 and 15-12 in the last two sets.
The loss dropped them to 3-1 on the season after they opened the season with wins against FIU, Northern Iowa and Southern Indiana. They also had a match with Dayton ruled a no-contest due to unsafe playing conditions.
The Buckeyes will return home after this match for the Sports Imports Classic next weekend, but first want to get a huge road win on Sunday afternoon.
