It is the first meeting between the two teams this season and should be a battle. The Boilermakers come into Wednesday fresh off a sweep of No. 21 USC on Saturday. They had just lost to No. 4 Penn State, but they bounced back and dominated the Trojans to get a huge win. They have now won six of their last seven matches and they are now 23-6 overall and 14-4 in the Big Ten. They currently they sit in fourth place in the conference standings, one game ahead of the Ducks. They will look to keep that advantage over the Ducks on Wednesday night with a win.

The Ducks, though, are looking to pull even with the Boilermakers and get a huge home win.

The Ducks come into Wednesday on a two-match winning streak and are fresh off two straight wins in the state of Michigan. They swept both Michigan State and Michigan last weekend to improve to 21-6 overall and 13-5 in the Big Ten.

They have won four of their last five matches. Wednesday they will look to get another win against a ranked opponent.
