Despite being on a two-match win streak, the Gators dropped from No. 23 last week to No. 24 this week. The team is now sitting in a tie for fifth place in the SEC with a conference record of 4-3 and an overall record of 13-5. On Sunday, the Gators traveled to Baton Rouge to take on LSU and won handily in straight sets. Kennedy Martin and AC Fitzpatrick were the only two hitters in double figures with 12 and 10, respectively, but it was enough to help the team to a hitting percentage of .367. Alexis Stucky put up 31 assists at setter to support offensive play and Elli McKissock handled the defensive end with a 14-dig performance.

When these two teams met last season, Tennessee pulled off a five-set victory on the road in Gainesville, but Florida has won eight of the last ten matches.
