The Longhorns bring a three match win streak into Sunday’s contest with an overall record of 6-3 and an SEC record of 1-0. The team opened conference play on Friday night against Texas A&M, winning in four sets on the road. Reagan Rutherford, Madisen Skinner and Devin Kahahawai each finished the game with a team-leading 11 kills while Emma Halter kept the back court clear with 13 digs on the day. Jenna Wenaas also assisted defensively, adding 11 digs to the stat sheet. While Texas does have three losses this season, two of the three were to ranked teams while the third was a five-set battle against a very strong Miami (FL) team.
