Utah will go for its first Big 12 win when it travels to Tucson, AZ to take on Arizona on Thursday. Watch live on Fubo.

Utah looks to avoid losing three matches in a row when it travels to Arizona for this Big 12 conference matchup on Thursday night. The Utes are trying to win their first conference game of the season in their third attempt this season. Utah has lost back-to-back matches to Iowa State and Colorado, with 3-2 and 3-0 match records respectively. Utah is trying to avoid losing four of its last five matches tonight. The Utes come into Tucson with an 8-5 record overall, with an 1-2 record on the road. The Utes hosted the Buffaloes in their last matchup at home, but it was a rough match from the start. Utah was outscored 25-18 in the first set despite getting up to an early 5-0 lead. While it was much closer in the final two sets, Colorado still dominated the match sweeping the Utes. Utah was ranked No. 23 going into the match, but fell out of the Top 25 with the loss. Junior outside hitter Kamryn Gibadlo still had a standout performance, leading the Utes with 15 kills, 28 total attempts, and 12 digs.

Arizona is also coming off a 3-0 match sweep against a conference opponent, dropping to No. 18 Kansas on the road. The Wildcats have now lost five of their last six matches. Arizona started off the season great winning six games in a row, but now its overall record is 7-5. The Wildcats do have a conference win beating the other Wildcats 3-1 in the previous match. Against the Jayhawks though, Kansas held Arizona to a .109 hitting percentage and had nine blocks.

While the second set was close, the first and third were lopsided in the sweep. Carlie Cisneros led Arizona with seven kills, while Adrianna Bridges followed that up with five kills of her own and added five blocks. The Wildcats and Utes are much more evenly matched tonight, at least with their respective records.
