Wisconsin and Minnesota both go for their seventh straight win on Wednesday night in women’s college volleyball.
The Wisconsin Badgers hit the road on Wednesday night to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in their first Big Ten match of the season. The Badgers come into Wednesday on a six-match winning streak and a 6-3 record on the season. The Badgers had a tough start to the season, as they lost their first three matches, but all of them were to teams ranked in the top six. They lost in four sets to No. 6 Louisville, No. 1 Texas and No. 5 Stanford in tough matches. Since then, though, they haven’t lost, with one of those wins coming against No. 23 Baylor on the road. The match on the Wednesday is the first of three straight away matches to open up Big Ten play. The Badgers will travel to Northwestern on Saturday before playing at Rutgers next Wednesday.

The Golden Gophers will look to make it a tough start to the road trip for the Badgers as they try and get a huge home win to kick-off Big Ten play.
The Golden Gophers have a tough start to conference play, as they will also host No. 10 Purdue on Saturday, before heading out west to take on UCLA and No. 20 USC next weekend.
The Golden Gophers have been no stranger to playing ranked teams already this season, as they have already played three such teams. They are 1-2 in those three matches, but their win came in five sets to No. 1 Texas. They lost to both No. 5 Stanford and No. 23 Baylor in five sets in their other two matches.
