With the two schools meeting in an Ivy League back-to-back, Yale gears up to host Princeton at the Lee Amphitheater in New Haven on Saturday. As winners of eight games in a row, Yale is 14-6 overall with a perfect 7-0 conference record this season. The Bulldogs are also a perfect 7-0 at home this season, compared to a 5-4 road record. Princeton, on the other hand, lost its first leg of a back-to-back to Brown. The Tigers are 16-7 overall with a 5-3 conference record and a 6-2 record on the road. Last month, Yale outlasted Princeton in a 77-70 victory for the Bulldogs.

Most recently, Yale extended its winning streak to eight games with a 103-88 victory over Cornell in Ithaca on Friday night. Bez Mbeng tallied a triple-double in the win with 15 points, a career-high 12 assists, and 10 rebounds. It was the second triple-double in program history.

As for Princeton, the Tigers fell on the road to Brown in a 70-56 loss at the Pizzitola Sports Center on Friday night. Dalen Davis led the Tigers with a team-high 15 points, while Xaivian Lee poured in 11 points in the loss for Princeton. Caden Pierce also added nine points and a team-high 11 rebounds. 

Yale and Princeton renew a longtime rivalry in New Haven on Saturday night.
