The notorious bachelor's attempts at maintaining a romantic life are a focus of the hourlong show. Rickey's children, including biological sons Brandon and Malik and adopted daughters Aaryn and D'Essence, are a big part of his life. Rickey's extended family of friends and co-workers includes personal assistant Angie, childhood friend and family lawyer Nikita, and his radio show co-hosts, including Da Brat and Gary With Da Tea. As time goes on, he looks to expand his entertainment empire by exploring new professions, including directing a sitcom and hosting a game.
