A Thin Line Between Love and Hate
Ladies' man Darnell Wright (Martin Lawrence) is used to getting his way with women. Although he is committed to marrying his longtime love, Mia (Regina King), he can't help himself when he meets the beautiful and standoffish Brandi (Lynn Whitfield). After bedding and then trying to ditch Brandi, Darnell is in for an unpleasant surprise: the unhinged Brandi is not about to let Darnell dump her, and she will do anything to exact revenge on him for tossing her aside.
A Low Down Dirty Shame
After hitting a wall in his case against drug kingpin Ernesto Mendoza (Andrew Divoff), private eye Andre Shame (Keenen Ivory Wayans) quits the police department in disgrace. The wisecracking investigator thinks he's left his old life behind him, but now everything changes when an old chum from the force informs him of a break in the case. With the help of his motor-mouthed secretary, Peaches (Jada Pinkett), Andre leaps back into the action to solve the case and clear his name.

Having already stolen two from the set of three priceless Napoleon Diamonds, expert jewel thief Max Burdett (Pierce Brosnan) decides to retire on a tropical island with his girlfriend and partner-in-crime, Lola (Salma Hayek). Fate intervenes, however, when Max discovers the third and final diamond is sitting on a docked cruise ship on his very island. It should be a simple job, but FBI agent Stan Lloyd (Woody Harrelson) shows up to make sure Max doesn't get any ideas.

On an island research facility, Dr. Susan McAlester is harvesting the brain tissue of DNA-altered sharks as a possible cure for Alzheimer's disease. When the facility's backers send an executive to investigate the experiments, a routine procedure goes awry and a shark starts attacking the researchers. Now, with sharks outnumbering their human captors, McAlester and her team must figure out a way to stop them from escaping to the ocean and breeding.

When a massive earthquake rocks the city of Los Angeles, Emergency Management department head Mike Roark (Tommy Lee Jones) returns from his vacation to help with the city's response. After geologist Dr. Amy Barnes (Anne Heche) warns that a volcano may be forming in sewer tunnels, another severe earthquake unleashes the lava flowing underfoot, threatening to destroy the whole city. As the fiery molten rock runs through the streets, Roark and Barnes must figure out how to divert it.

The small town of Huntingburg is forced to evacuate when torrential rains bring rising flood waters. The local sheriff (Randy Quaid) and town residents, having been through this before, are all too familiar with the looting and petty thefts that take place in an abandoned town. What they are not aware of, however, is the planned heist of an armored car sent to transport the $3 million from local banks.

Danny Lupo (Mark Wahlberg), manager of the Sun Gym in the 1990s Miami, decides that there is only one way to achieve his version of the American dream: extortion. After several failed attempts, they abduct rich businessman Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub) and convince him to sign over all his assets to them.
