Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

A film about what could happen if the wrong person pushed the wrong button -- and it played the situation for laughs. He thinks that the communists are conspiring to pollute the "precious bodily fluids" of the American people.

From Here to Eternity

At an Army barracks in Hawaii in the days preceding the attack on Pearl Harbor, lone-wolf soldier and boxing champion Prew Prewitt (Montgomery Clift) refuses to box, preferring to play the bugle instead. Hard-hearted Capt. Holmes (Philip Ober) subjects Prew to a grueling series of punishments while, unknown to Holmes, the gruff but fair Sgt. Warden (Burt Lancaster) engages in a clandestine affair with the captain's mistreated wife (Deborah Kerr).

Phffft!

Robert (Jack Lemmon) and Nina Tracy (Judy Holliday) were once a happy couple, but eight years of marriage has taken a toll on their relationship. They decide to call it quits and get a divorce. In their ensuing freedom, they are excited to dive back into the world of dating. Nina has a date with a suave actor (Donald Curtis), and Robert meets a blonde bombshell (Kim Novak). However, when their dalliances get complicated, they quickly realize that single life might not be what they bargained for.

All Ashore

Sailors Joe (Dick Haymes) and Skip (Ray McDonald) habitually take advantage of their shipmate, Moby (Mickey Rooney), who's robbed after they take him to a shady bar. When they have no money to go to Catalina Island, Calif., Joe arranges their travel by volunteering the clueless Moby to work on the ship. Skip later meets a glamorous dancer (Peggy Ryan), while Joe woos a nightclub owner (Jody Lawrance). Moby decides to leave, but finds himself coming to the rescue of a beautiful heiress.

The Last Hurrah

Based on the novel by Edwin O'Connor, this political drama focuses on Frank Skeffington (Spencer Tracy), an aging mayor who is embarking on his final campaign for reelection. Aided by his nephew, Adam Caulfield (Jeffrey Hunter), and savvy strategist John Gorman (Pat O'Brien), Skeffington faces considerable challenges as the political landscape that he knows slowly crumbles away, but, undaunted, he remains determined to stay in the game a bit longer.

The Silencers

Veteran secret agent Matt Helm (Dean Martin) is living a life of luxury when his former lover, Tina Batori (Daliah Lavi), pulls him back into action. A sinister group known as the Big O has developed a plot to start a global nuclear conflict, so the carefree, womanizing Helm must stop the scheme of mastermind Tung-Tze (Victor Buono). Joining the suave Helm on his mission is the beautiful but inept operative Gail Hendricks (Stella Stevens), along with other gorgeous ladies.

The Harder They Fall

Broke and without work, newspaper reporter Eddie Willis (Humphrey Bogart) agrees to work for the corrupt boxing promoter Nick Benko (Rod Steiger) to help hype his new boxer, Toro Moreno (Mike Lane). While Toro is beastly in appearance, he has no actual boxing talent, and all his fights are fixed. When Toro gets a shot at the title against the brutal Buddy Brannen (Max Baer), Willis is faced with the tough decision of whether to tell Toro that his entire career is a sham.
